Personal Statement

As a general endocrinologist, I care for patients across the full spectrum of hormonal and metabolic conditions. I have a special interest in metabolic health and liver disease, particularly its intersection with obesity and diabetes. My work aims to improve early recognition of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) in high-risk populations and to develop integrated pathways for interdisciplinary care. I work closely with hepatology, nutrition, cardiology, and primary care to support effective screening, treatment, and long-term management for patients.+

Rooted in my upbringing in a large Greek immigrant family, I approach medicine with a deep respect for storytelling, human connection, and the power of listening. These values shape every patient interaction I have and reinforce my belief that care works best when it’s a partnership.
